The JOLT Chicago Collaboration (HIRE360, Chicago Women in Trades, Ex-Cons for Community and Social Change, and Revolution Workshop) is working to assist Clayco Construction and its contracting team, to recruit candidates into union trades apprenticeship programs and prepare them for work opportunities in upcoming construction project for the Chicago Fire FC Training and Performance Center. Facility plans include world-class practice fields and a performance center where team members prepare for matches. The facility would also house the Fire’s Youth Academy, offering programmed activities for youth, teens, and young adults in CHA housing and the broader community.
